FOOD for Lane County's mission is to eliminate hunger in our community by creating access to food. We accomplish this by soliciting, collecting, rescuing, growing, preparing and packaging food for distribution through a network of social service agencies and programs; and through public awareness, education and community advocacy. We find creative solutions to hunger and its underlying causes, and we believe a responsive food bank includes programs that help people help themselves.

Buy fresh, organic produce from FOOD for Lane County's Youth Farm Stand, 705 Flamingo Ave. off Game Farm Road, Springfield. The stand is open Saturdays, 10am to 2pm, June 14 through October. Proceeds benefit FOOD for Lane County's Gardens Program.
