EUGENE, Ore. — Thousands of pounds of canned food is now sitting on the FOOD for Lane County shelves.
Fairgoers brought three cans of food to their fair on Sunday in exchange for free admission.
FOOD for Lane County said they collected 26,779 pounds of food and it will all go to feeding local families in need. They said that equates to 22,315 meals.
