EUGENE, Ore. – In wake of the national proposed budget cuts, Food for Lane County plans to continue to service the elderly even if their funding is slashed.
Organization officials said they are worried about the budget cuts.
More than 60 percent of Food for Lane County’s funding is in jeopardy if the national budget is approved.
They said even if their organization’s funding is cut, they will still supply Meals on Wheels through fundraising.
