Justice of Eating Awards 2020

Started in 2011, the Justice of Eating Award honors groups, individuals, and partner agencies for their distinguished contributions toward hunger relief in Lane County.

We all share an extraordinary commitment to feeding the hungry and improving our community. We encourage anyone to nominate an organization, leader or volunteer for a 2020 Justice of Eating Award.

Application Process
Anyone may make a nomination for an award winner. There are three categories: individual, group, or partner agency. All nominations must be submitted on the Justice of Eating Award Nomination Form, emailed to Roz Fox here or dropped off at our main office at 770 Bailey Hill Rd, Eugene 97402. You can also submit a nomination online below. All nominations must be received by 4:00 p.m. on January 27, 2020.

Criteria for Selection of Winners
Entries will be evaluated only on the information contained in the application. Each award category (individual, group, or partner agency) will be judged by the Programs Education and Services Committee. Judging criteria include how long the nominee has been involved in hunger relief service or advocacy, the nominee’s service or activities, and the impact of their work.
