Trillium donates $36,000 to help Food For Lane County with ‘snack pack’ program

LANE COUNTY, Ore. — As we head into Memorial Day Weekend, a local company and a nonprofit are teaming up to make sure students are being provided with healthy snacks to last them through the holiday and the summer.

When FOOD For Lane County had no way to expand their “snack packs” program for Lane County students, Trillium — a local mental health company — donated $36,000 to make sure students of various districts were well fed.

The money is enough to provide 16,000 packs of snacks throughout the summer.
